## Origins Aurora is a white husky, born in [San Andreas](https://onx.fandom.com/wiki/Bunker_99) shortly before the bombs dropped. When Aurora's family received news of the incoming bombs they loaded Aurora and her mother into their car and made their way to their BunkTech™ assigned bunker on the Cassidy Trail, [Bunker 99](https://onx.fandom.com/wiki/Bunker_99). Once the family arrived at the bunker, BunkTech™ told the family that they were only allowed 1 pet in the bunker. The decision was made to leave Aurora outside and take her mother into the bunker. Aurora laid outside the bunker door for several days after the bunker was sealed. Eventually the hunger took over, and Aurora began to wander in search of any food that may have survived the bombs. While hunting Aurora found [Grapeseed](https://onx.fandom.com/wiki/Grapeseed), where a large quantity of chickens had survived the bombs and were living in peace amongst the abandoned farming fields. Aurora spent the next several years wandering [Grapeseed](https://onx.fandom.com/wiki/Grapeseed) and the greater [Blaine County](https://onx.fandom.com/wiki/Blaine_County), surviving off chickens she could hunt, and fighting off rats that tried to attack her in her sleep. Eventually the local populous started emerging from some of the bunkers. When Aurora began spotting humans on the island again, she made her way to [Bunker 99](https://onx.fandom.com/wiki/Bunker_99) where she last seen her family, but it remained sealed. Aurora returned to the entrance of [Bunker 99](https://onx.fandom.com/wiki/Bunker_99) for several weeks, but the door never opened. Eventually Aurora gave up hope on seeing her family again, and returned to wandering the state, avoiding gaining connections to humans in fear of them abandoning her, just as her family did when she was a puppy. ## Approaching People While Aurora was able to survive for years without making contact with people, eventually she realized that she would have to make some human connections in order to do more than the bare minimum of survival. Aurora began wandering closer and closer to [Los Santos](https://onx.fandom.com/wiki/Los_Santos), eventually finding herself walking down Elgin Avenue, where a Grey in color sedan bumped into her, and the driver, Noa Vale¹, began yelling obscenities at Aurora and overall berating Aurora. Aurora attempted to show that she was uncomfortable with the situation, however Noa continuously berated Aurora, to the point that they began fighting, and Aurora bit Noa down in the Elgin Avenue entrance to the [FIB Tower](https://onx.fandom.com/wiki/FIB_Headquarters) Underground Parking Garage. Aurora kept wandering the city, even more skeptical of people now, eventually finding herself at [MRPD](https://onx.fandom.com/wiki/Mission_Row_Police_Station), where she found Noa talking to several [DPS](https://onx.fandom.com/wiki/Department_of_Public_Safety) members. Noa recognized Aurora and began attempting to retaliate, when Aurora bit her down yet again, but also was downed by Noa at the same time. Aurora became very skeptical of people at this point until she came in contact with the [SAACC](https://onx.fandom.com/wiki/San_Andreas_Animal_Care_and_Control) Veterinarian [Ivy Ravenwine-Fox](https://onx.fandom.com/wiki/Ivy_Ravenwine). Ivy showed Aurora that not all people are bad, and that some can be trusted, and since her initial checkup from Ivy, Aurora has started approaching people more and more. ## Obtaining The Sponge 🧽 While Aurora was spending time with [Eleanor Ohori](https://onx.fandom.com/wiki/Eleanor_Ohori) at [Limitless Performance](https://onx.fandom.com/wiki/Limitless_Performance). Aurora spotted a [BCSO](https://onx.fandom.com/wiki/Blaine_County_Sheriff's_Office) Deputy driving past, and chased them down the road. Aurora caught up to the Deputy, who was Lieutenant [William Cole](https://onx.fandom.com/wiki/William_Cole). Lt. Cole did not know what Aurora wanted, or have anything to give her, so he gave her the cleaning sponge he had on him for her to have. When Eleanor spotted Aurora carrying the sponge, they made a deal that Aurora could keep the sponge, so long as she didnt chew on it. After she showed the sponge off to more and more people, and constantly having to beg for new sponges as they wore down from weeks of constant slobbering, Doctor [Ember Grace](https://onx.fandom.com/wiki/Ember_Grace) got a custom sponge commissioned for Aurora that both was a special design for her, and was built to be resilient to dog slobber and not wear down from her constantly holding the sponge in her mouth. ## Abduction To EMS Aurora was wandering the state, when she came across [Rivington Rivera](https://onx.fandom.com/wiki/Rivington_Riviera) (Riv) at [Pillbox Hill Medical Center](https://onx.fandom.com/wiki/Pillbox_Hill_Medical_Center). Riv asked if Aurora wanted to join him in raiding the DPS academy that was happening. In order to allow Aurora to utilize the VR-Doggles, Riv hired Aurora into EMS and never removed the permissions from her MDW profile. Other EMS that knew Aurora took this and ran with it, giving her a radio and allowing her to clock on as EMS while riding with them to hear the radio traffic. ## Meeting Jessica Aurora regularly rode along with various [EMS](https://onx.fandom.com/wiki/Los_Santos_Emergency_Medical_Services) as she spent time around. Eventually she met [Jessica Payne](https://onx.fandom.com/wiki/Jessica_Payne) and began to grow an attachment to her. Over time Aurora tried to go home with Jessica and stay at her house. Jessica also seemed to grow an attachment to Aurora at the same time. To this day Aurora still sleeps at Jessica's house in [Sandy Shores](https://onx.fandom.com/wiki/Sandy_Shores) (101 Zancudo Avenue), and Jessica is in the process of trying to legally adopt Aurora. ## Tracking There are only a few people that Aurora entrusts with access to her tracker.
